Public rate limit: 120 requests/hour/IP bucket. Maximum list limit: 50. Attribution should cite AfterRain and the canonical URL. Responses are public-safe only and never include private contacts, notes, paid-only data, API keys, or purchase history.

Future API key contract

Future paid API keys will be scoped, rate-limited, revocable, plan-tied, and unable to bypass safety restrictions or private contact rules. MCP tools are deferred until public API v0 and paid boundaries are stable.
